How Often should I change my filter? Depending on filter thickness and the air quality of the home our suggestions are: 1" - 30 days 2" - 60 to 90 days 4" or 5" - 5 to 6 months

Is there a liquid product safe to use in attempt to clear a clog? You will need to know the type of drain piping throughout your home. If your drain piping is plastic, liquid drain cleaners are safe. If your drain piping is cast iron or copper, DO NOT use any liquid drain cleaners. Using harsh chemicals on cast iron or copper drain pipes can cause deterioration of the pipes.

What should I do if we are continuously tripping breakers? Continuously tripping breakers is a symptom of over loading a circuit. You may need to try rearranging where you plug things in. Are GFI receptacles required throughout the house? According to electrical code, GFI receptacles are required in bathrooms, any place within 6 feet of a sink, and any exterior receptacles. Is it safe to use extension cords throughout the house? No! If you find your home to be limited on the number of receptacles, the safest thing to do would be to call an electrician. It may be possible to add additional outlets to accommodate your needs. If the electrical panel is too small to carry any additional receptacles, we would be happy to provide a free estimate for a panel upgrade.
