The REME HALO in-duct air purifier utilizes RGF's proprietary Electro Magnetic Energy technology. How does the REME HALO in-duct air purifier differ from a standard air filter?

Standard HVAC filters are passive-they only catch particles that happen to pass through the filter media. The REME HALO is an active in-duct purification system that produces hydro-peroxide plasma throughout your entire home's air duct system. These friendly oxidizers sweep through living spaces, actively killing up to 99% of bacteria, viruses, and mold spores on surfaces and in the air while causing micro-particles to clump together for easier filter capture.


Does the REME HALO run continuously, and when does the cell need replacement?

Yes, the REME HALO operates automatically whenever your HVAC blower fan is engaged, continuously purifying living spaces. The REME HALO cell module has an operational lifespan of approximately 2 years (18,000 to 25,000 hours). Replacing the cell during your routine annual HVAC maintenance ensures continuous indoor air quality protection.


Can a REME HALO unit be installed into my existing HVAC ductwork?

Yes. Gudorf's certified indoor air quality technicians can install a REME HALO unit directly into the supply plenum of virtually any existing central heating and air conditioning duct system. Installation usually takes less than 1 to 2 hours and does not require major modifications to your existing heating and cooling equipment.
