About Us

Founder and Owner of Gudorf Supply Company located in Jasper, Indiana. Together with his wife, Irma, he started the company in 1964. Gene’s career started in seat coverings and convertible top vinyl. He continued learning and growing his knowledge base.  One day, Gene was approached by a salesman to install vehicle AC systems. This led to Gene being approached by someone asking him about installing HVAC systems in a residential home. Gene continued to grow the company and his knowledge by adding additional services to his fleet.  Gene was able to provide services in heating & air, plumbing and electrical trades.  Gene quickly became the person known to fix all the unique problems and people turned to him for guidance.  

In 2013, Gene passed away at the family farm.  At this time, his wife, Irma took ownership of the company. In 2018, Gene’s son, Michael, approached Irma about taking over the company. She accepted his offer. 

In 1999, fresh out of high school, Michael Gudorf began his full-time career inside his family’s business. Growing up inside the company, he was already prepared to take this opportunity and continue his growth. Michael led the company’s install crew for 14 years as the lead installer. In 2013, after his father’s sudden death, Michael stepped into the office as the Project Manager. From 2013 – 2018, Michael continued to manage and oversee projects and installation. After five years of working to grow the company, Michael approached his mother to take ownership of the company.  Currently, Michael with his wife, Amanda, own and operate the family business.  Gudorf Supply Company was rebranded into Gudorf Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical in 2018. By leading the industry with innovative ideas and technology, Michael is giving the company the talent and ability to service clients with the best client experience possible.  

The third generation Gudorf is in line to take on the family business. Wyatt Gudorf has grown up in a service or installation truck. Just like his father, Michael, he is growing his knowledge by hands on learning in his young life. From the young age of two, Wyatt has watched his grandfather and father provide skilled services to clients near and far from the home office still nestled in Jasper, Indiana.  As a young technician, Wyatt will continue to use his energy to learn and grow so that he will be able to follow in the footsteps of his family legacy. All clients of Gudorf Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical will be able to count on the reliable, consistent, and dependable services they have known, since 1964, well into the future knowing that the company remains tied to strong family roots, providing the best client experiences, and offering the best technology possible.
